Exactly as described. A very good clear book to get you started. Very useful book. When there are instructions of how to do something, you also have a visual of where the tabs and buttons are on the screen that you will be using, everything is numbered, labeled and then explained clearly, step by step. If its the first time you have done these things, like me, you then need a few pointers for afterward as well- try to adjust the balance here or the levels there Still, this is not a terrible fault.

The book does an excellent job of introducing each bell and whistle that LR has to offer. If you go through chapter by chapter, you will be familiar with all that LR can do by the end of the book. Or you can use it like I have- according to need after guessing on your own, and by looking things up in the index. This book is a great way to learn about the software quickly! It is very well laid out and really you cannot fail to benefit from it. I am not a lover of in depth books with hardly any pictures, this has just the right amount of both.
