The only reason I gave it a 4 was because i try to reserve 5’s for “brand new, right off the presses”Other than that the book was perfect, shipped well and on time and at a great price.

Not the perfect book for the “gabagool” loving paisan or the fans that couldn’t wait to see Richie Aprile get what was coming to him. PS, it does not give any insight into the final episodeThis book is highly slanted towards the production of the show. Everything from the kind of liquid substituted for booze to how good the food really was. Don’t get me wrong, tons of good stories and particulars about the show that a casual fan would appreciate, just try not to gloss over the backstage sections.

I watched all of the episodes a second time which were available through my cable carrier and then got to see and read all sorts of background material about the series and its creation.

The book covers all areas of the production and is a nice reference for the story content of each episode.

The book itself should be on the shelf of any fan of the series. It’s not the usual slipshod rider on a successful show; it’s a well produced and informative look behind the scenes, with lots of interesting comments by David Chase and the actors.
