You were “supposed” to use your personal email account to do the actual activation of the product key you purchased. If you did do that you are probably ok to re-install from the MyAccount site:. But then, In theory you can’t activate again. Access to your HUP license is based on the Office license you use at work.

When you leave the job, you are “supposed” to stop using your HUP license. Most people don’t. Unfortunately you got caught by the reset. You can contact support thought the HUP site to see if they will help. I doubt it. That being said, as a veteran you still may be able to get a “Military” discount for a new Office license, probably a subscription. Choose where you want to search below Search Search the Community.
